First Kentucky Bank welcomes Doug Smith as VP of Business Development & Ag/Commercial Lending

Mayfield, Kentucky – First Kentucky Bank President/CEO David A. Long announces that Doug Smith has joined First Kentucky Bank as a Business Development and Ag/Commercial Lending Officer.

Smith has 25 years of combined banking experience with his most recent role as an Agriculture Business Banker. At First Kentucky Bank, he will be responsible for business development and commercial lending in Ohio and Daviess County.

He shared, “I am excited to join the team at First Kentucky Bank as a commercial lender. Working with First Kentucky will enable me to provide a better customer experience for my clients with fast local loan decisions, flexibility, personalized service, and a commitment to the community.”

Smith graduated from Southern Illinois University of Carbondale, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree. He has volunteered with the Kiwanis Club of Owensboro as a Board Member and Volunteer for over 20 years and at Audubon Area Community Services as a Board Member for over 15 years. He has also served on the Finance Committee for Saints Joseph and Paul Catholic Church for the past 15 years.

Smith resides in Owensboro with his wife, Suzanne. They have two children, Brandon and Emma Smith. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, playing golf, volunteering, and spending time outdoors.
