Support from the Provincial Government will assist a unique Burin Peninsula company in attracting new clients throughout North America and beyond.

With production facilities in Grand Bank and Fortune, Dynamic Air Shelters Ltd. designs, engineers and manufactures lightweight, rapidly deployable textile shelters in four distinct markets: oil and gas, construction, first responder operations, and the promotional sector. To assist in the development, building and testing of a multi-layer blast shelter, the company received a non-repayable $100,000 contribution from the Provincial Government’s Business Development Support Program.

Dynamic Air Shelters Ltd. will modify and test one of its blast resistant shelters, with an aim to further diminish the damaging effects of a shock wave inside one of its structures. Proof of this protection will play a role in attracting new orders and contracts from industrial companies throughout the globe.

The Provincial Government is committed to supporting international business development activity, which is vital to the retention and growth of Newfoundland and Labrador companies.

“Dynamic Air Shelters is a significant employer on the Burin Peninsula. With support from our government, the development of this new product will allow the company to improve and expand its product lines, and create jobs at its local manufacturing facility.”
Honourable Andrew Parsons
Minister of Industry, Energy and Technology

“Dynamic Air Shelters is thrilled with the support it continues to receive from the Provincial Government. This grant will allow the ongoing development of Dynamic Air Shelter’s safe and innovative products, ensuring continued growth by attracting new and repeat clients.”
John F. Hapgood
General Manager, Dynamic Air Shelters

“Our government is deeply committed to investment in local businesses that promote economic development and create sustainable communities. We commend Dynamic Air Shelters for their vision, and innovative cooperate thinking. This venture in the community of Grand Bank will have lasting economic benefits and position the company to be competitive and expand their business.”
